Intertraffic Mexico and the IV Ibero-American ITS Congress on Sustainable Mobility and Road Safety will take place From November 9 to 11 at the Citibanamex Center in Mexico City. This alliance is seen as a benchmark in the industry to meet the mobility challenges in the region. DKT Deutsche Kennzeichen Technik GmbH is using this event in Hall C at Stand 1037 to present the relevant trade audience with a unique hybrid solution for a wide variety of applications, such as control points, traffic controls or technical vehicle tests (PTI stations), the fast retrieval of vehicle data and information. The trade fair is regarded as a meeting place for authorities, transport network operators, integrators, private companies, the construction industry, infrastructure, automotive and mobility providers.
In line with the guiding theme “Sustainable Mobility and Road Safety”, DKT is presenting its hybrid license plate for the safe identification of vehicles. Ein drittes Kennzeichen als Schutz vor Diebstahl, Betrug und Manipulation hinter der Windschutzscheibe zu platzieren, ist ein altbewährtes Sicherheitsmerkmal. Jedoch den „Windshield Tag“ mit der Funktionalität von zwei RFID Komponenten (HF und UHF) in Kombination mit weiteren Sicherheitsmerkmalen und tamper evident zu verbinden, ist eine Innovation. Dadurch wird die Fahrzeugidentität noch effizienter und eindeutiger.
Sowohl im stehenden als auch im fließenden Verkehr können mit einfachen Lesegeräten Fahrzeugdaten aus der Registrierung und individuelle Informationen jederzeit und in Echtzeit abgerufen werden. Ein gängiges Android Mobiltelefon und die CarCon App-Lösung von DKT ermöglicht es zum Beispiel, die Fahrzeugzulassungsdaten zu prüfen oder festzustellen, ob das Fahrzeug versichert ist oder die Steuern bezahlt wurden. Weitere Anwendungsfälle wie zum Beispiel Daten aus der technische Fahrzeugüberwachung (PTI), Parkberechtigung, Maut oder Zufahrtskontrolle sind durch die Hybrid-Lösung zusätzlich möglich.
