Another milestone in DKT’s company history: In Quito, Ecuador, in addition to the opening of a local production of license plates, the establishment of the subsidiary DKTEC S.A.S. was celebrated. At a presentation of products and services, such as self-manufactured license plates and traffic technology solutions of DKT, the topic of safety, road safety, as well as a modernization of the registration system was hotly discussed. About 100 representatives from politics, business and associations accepted the invitation. “I am very proud of our commitment and local presence in Ecuador,” said Philipp Kroschke in his welcoming speech. DKT Managing Director Bernhard Gött further explained that in addition to the license plate, the focus is on services, digitization steps and Raod Safety concepts for municipalities and cities in Ecuador. This can only be achieved with a local commitment. The background to the activities in Ecuador is the upcoming changes in the country’s registration system. Instead of issuing the license plates centrally via the traffic authority Agencia Nacional de Transito (ANT), this will be possible locally via cities and municipalities in the future. A highlight of the evening: Each guest received an individual and personalized license plate as a souvenir, true to the motto “DKT – YOUR COMPETENT PARTNER FOR LICENSE PLATES IN ECUADOR”
